Use Of This Music: What's Permitted and What's Not Allowed

"Hey...can I use this music to...??"

The music on this site has been provided by the artists themselves in an effort to share their creative work with the music-listening-and-buying public. The intent is for you to listen to it alongside your other favorite music on your MP3 player, and if you fall in love with it (as so many do...), that you will support the artist by purchasing track downloads or a CD.

However, many feel that the fact that we provide the MP3s for free download means that they have permission to use the music on their web sites, behind video presentations, on their company's phone system, etc. This is not correct. We do not have the authority to grant such permission.

On the Music pages (where you download the MP3s), we provide a link to each artist's web site. If you're interested in using their music for such purposes, you'll need to contact the artist directly to seek their permission. They may or may not grant such permission, and if they do, there may or may not be a monetary cost involved.

Please understand that this is the artist's livelihood as well as their art. Don't take advantage of their generosity. Thanks!
