If
you're having any trouble listening to any of the songs on the site,
here are a few things to try to troubleshoot your computer setup:
- How
fast is your modem? If you're still on a 56K modem, you'll
grow very frustrated trying to preview songs here. You'll get
a few seconds, then it will make you wait...then give you a few
more seconds, then make you wait... You can still download songs
with no problem, but you'll have to make your decisions a lot
faster than folks with broadband connections (since they can listen
to the whole song without problems).
- Do
you have the latest version of Windows Media Player? Most
PCs will try to use Windows Media Player to play streaming MP3
audio. If you're not sure whether you have the latest version,
you can look under Windows Media Player's Help menu. There's a
selection there: "Check for Player Upgrades". You may
need to download an update. You can also use the Windows Update
feature under your Start menu. (We have also noticed that, sometimes,
Windows Media Player seems to conflict with other software or
become misconfigured for some reason, resulting in a number of
errors. You might want to try uninstalling Windows Media Player
and reinstalling it.)
- If
your system is set to use RealPlayer, Winamp or any of the
other MP3 players that are popular these days, check to make sure
you have the latest version of these as well.
If
you continue to have problems after you've tried these steps, please
let us know and we'll do our best to help! Just use the form on this page to contact us. |
